NO COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES. I'm a investor-focused real estate agent, 4-unit multifamily investor, and team lead at Compass, serving the northern NJ region. I started my real estate journey as an investor, house-hacking and full gut rehabbing a 1920s built two-family in Bayonne, NJ with an FHA 203k loan. Shortly after, I jumped in full-time as a licensed NJ Realtor and went all in on real estate. Now, I live and invest in Hudson County and lead a small team of savvy agents specializing in working with investors, particularly 'house-hackers' and new aspiring investors looking to acquire their first rental property and jumpstart their real estate investment careers. I worked with Steve on the purchase of a multi family in Jersey City in late 2021. Steve is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, energetic and, almost most importantly of all, responsive. This was my first purchase in the U.S. and Steve was absolutely invaluable all the way from the initial search to post-closing issues. I can’t talk him up (or thank him) enough. He is a huge Bigger Pockets fan and knows what’s what in NJ and real estate in general. I contacted Steve to begin exploring my options for purchasing a multi-family investment property (found him right here on BP!). Just a few months later- he had me at the closing table. Needless to say, this is an agent that has a passion for finding a way to make things work for you. Steve did an incredible job of guiding me through the entire house buying process; from narrowing down my locations and street, finding the house, due diligence, negotiations, and finally to the closing table. I felt guided, informed, and supported every step of the way. He was even able to provide insight and advice from an investment standpoint about the markets and feasibility of individual properties being considered. Could not recommend Steve more for your next home purchase! Had a very difficult closing due to a very difficult seller and Steve was there every step of the way with support right up until the day of closing. Being a homeowner and investor himself, he is extremely knowledgeable and well connected in the real estate space. He had great referrals for whatever we needed (contractors, lawyers, inspectors, etc) and had a great experience with all of them. A+ can’t wait to work with him again.

We worked with Steve as First-Time buyers in Jersey City, NJ and it was great having him in our corner as we learned the ropes.
He knows the area well and was able to hint at where we should/shouldn't be looking to buy based on the area's development.
I firmly believe that when you have a realtor offering an opinion/expertise then it is in your best interest to trust their judgement and opinion as they see the community and know how its developing more than you'll ever know. Steve never tried to sell us on a property but he was sure to raise his hand and question us (make us think) when we were considering something that ultimately would have ended up being a regretful decision.
We trust Steve and his team and we'll certainly be looking his way when we're ready to do more.

I just closed on the house two weeks ago. Let me tell you this isn't an easy journey especially in this competitive market. Steve was the first agent I talked to and he understood the task and what I was trying to do. At first I was trying to find a property when I was in a different state. Steve is just a very nice guy and is patient. He was going to houses and doing the video tours and called me afterwards to explain the yays/nays of them. I had a hiccup with one seller that we got under contract with but the seller couldn't perform so we ended up having to terminate and started searching again. During this whole process, Steve was courteous, responsive to my calls and explaining things sometimes late in the evening. I didn't feel I was pushed in any way in making decisions, actually I think I pushed him more. But overall I'd recommend Steve to any first time home buyer, seasoned buyer or real estate individual investor. Thank you Steve!

In my house hunting journey (which I closed recently! ), Steve was pretty helpful as an investor friendly agent. We went on several tours and discussed a lot of the property potential according to my needs. He knows the New Jersey area pretty well, as from what we covered Weehawken, Union City, Jersey City, Bayonne etc.. Besides, he shared a lot of knowledge, comments, analyses, as well as always being responsive to my questions. He is very knowledgeable in the Northern NJ area and was able to help guide us to the right areas. In the beginning, we were just trying to learn more about our market, and Steve was very patient. Then, once we were ready, Steve showed us several properties and also gave us insight on each property. Ultimately, Steve helped us with an off-market deal in our current neighborhood, and we couldn't have done it without him! Steve was the best realtor I could have asked for in the home buying process. Steve and I viewed multiple properties starting with condos. Once my fiancée and I decided we actually wanted to move in a direction and get a house, Steve immediately found us multiple other homes to look at and catered a personalized search to our preferences.
What really impressed me about Steve was his knowledge of the real estate market. In our conversations he would recite recent real estate sales to me that had occurred in multiple different areas. Steve knows areas down to the street name like the back of his hand. He had great referrals for whatever we needed (contractors, lawyers, inspectors, etc) and had a great experience with all of them. A+ can’t wait to work with him again.

We worked with Steve as First-Time buyers in Jersey City, NJ and it was great having him in our corner as we learned the ropes.
He knows the area well and was able to hint at where we should/shouldn't be looking to buy based on the area's development.
I firmly believe that when you have a realtor offering an opinion/expertise then it is in your best interest to trust their judgement and opinion as they see the community and know how its developing more than you'll ever know. Steve never tried to sell us on a property but he was sure to raise his hand and question us (make us think) when we were considering something that ultimately would have ended up being a regretful decision.
We trust Steve and his team and we'll certainly be looking his way when we're ready to do more.

I just closed on the house two weeks ago. Let me tell you this isn't an easy journey especially in this competitive market. Steve was the first agent I talked to and he understood the task and what I was trying to do. At first I was trying to find a property when I was in a different state. Steve is just a very nice guy and is patient. He was going to houses and doing the video tours and called me afterwards to explain the yays/nays of them. I had a hiccup with one seller that we got under contract with but the seller couldn't perform so we ended up having to terminate and started searching again. During this whole process, Steve was courteous, responsive to my calls and explaining things sometimes late in the evening. I didn't feel I was pushed in any way in making decisions, actually I think I pushed him more. But overall I'd recommend Steve to any first time home buyer, seasoned buyer or real estate individual investor. Thank you Steve!

In my house hunting journey (which I closed recently! ), Steve was pretty helpful as an investor friendly agent. We went on several tours and discussed a lot of the property potential according to my needs. He knows the New Jersey area pretty well, as from what we covered Weehawken, Union City, Jersey City, Bayonne etc.. Besides, he shared a lot of knowledge, comments, analyses, as well as always being responsive to my questions. We were still in conversations after closing and I got advice on property management and other outsource directions too. I look forward to keeping working together to spin up my REI.

I worked with Steve when looking for my first REI multi-family that my husband and I wanted to house-hack. From the first initial call through to the end, Steve was so helpful and informative. He is very knowledgeable in the Northern NJ area and was able to help guide us to the right areas. In the beginning, we were just trying to learn more about our market, and Steve was very patient. Then, once we were ready, Steve showed us several properties and also gave us insight on each property. Ultimately, Steve helped us with an off-market deal in our current neighborhood, and we couldn't have done it without him! In addition to helping with finding the right property, Steve also offered insight on renovating properties and house-hacking. He was able to help make our entire home purchase experience a great experience, and we are so excited to start our REI journey. I highly recommend working with Steve and plan to work with him on our future properties.

Steven is a great real estate agent to work with! Me and my business partner just closed on our first investment property in NJ and it was all thanks to Steven. He was very helpful in providing recommendations and tips throughout the process. It was because of him our offer was accepted by the sellers. He always responds to our questions and makes himself available all the time. Steve was the best realtor I could have asked for in the home buying process. Steve and I viewed multiple properties starting with condos. Once my fiancée and I decided we actually wanted to move in a direction and get a house, Steve immediately found us multiple other homes to look at and catered a personalized search to our preferences.
What really impressed me about Steve was his knowledge of the real estate market. In our conversations he would recite recent real estate sales to me that had occurred in multiple different areas. Steve knows areas down to the street name like the back of his hand.
