About us
I am a 3rd generation agent who owns and operates family owned brokerage Realty One Group Generations with partners in the family and an Ameriprise wealth management franchise. I handle sale an operations for the brokerage and for our real estate team Glenda Kane & Company, which has 8 agents who are ready to handle business throughout South central PA and Northern MD. The team allows us to move quickly for our clients in this fast paced seller markets. Our hallmark is communication and the agents on our team understand the importance of being accessible and making sure every phone call gets returned. So much so that we guarantee it. If an agent doesn't return a client's call within 24 hours we will actually deduct it from our commission. Don't get too excited about that though because in the six years since we implemented the program we have yet to have paid out a client for an agent not returning their client's call. It's our belief that while industry knowledge and proper financial acumen and connections are valuable to our client base, that nothing matters more than communication and availability. Our family also owns and operated an expanding property management company Hulson Homes in the York and Adams County area. I primarily handle investors looking to purchase or list their homes while my brother Alex Kane oversees the property management side. Our broker of record Glenda Kane (also goes by mom) was instrumental in the residential side of the market managing one of the largest teams in the area for last 30 years. Myself, and agents I manage, are specialized in different areas in the market from listing, purchasing, investment NOI and cash flow analysis, and commercial purchasing and management. We look forward to handling any and all of your real estate needs.

Around Memorial Day 2024 we decided it was time to downsize from a 4 bedroom 2 story home to a 2 bedroom single story house Lucy Lloyd-Smith of Realty One Group showed us a house in early June and we were both very impressed with how prepared she was, her friendliness and knowledge of the local real estate market. We continued to work with Lucy as we refined our requirements for the house we wanted to purchase. We signed a buyer’s agent contract with Lucy and found her rates very fair. Also, Lucy was very helpful in putting us in contact with a local bank for a bridge loan. She worked tirelessly to find houses for us to look at that met our requirements. Lucy also gave us good information on what purchase prices were actually running by location. After 3 months of searching, Lucy found a house for sale that exactly fit our expectations. With her help our offer was accepted and we closed on that house about 4 weeks later.
Lucy also helped us sell our 4 bedroom house. She was very skillful in setting the price and timing of when the house went on the market. We received an excellent offer on the first day the house went on the market. We closed on that house about 4 weeks after we accepted the offer.
In closing, we found Lucy to be an excellent realtor. We couldn’t have wished for a better outcome. That positive outcome was due in large part to her hard work, friendliness and continual encouragement. We rate her 5 stars, and will certainly send our friends to her if they wish to buy, or sell a house.

We got ghosted by our agent soon after the contract was signed in Feb this year. I had asked for help to review the final plan received from builder, didn't get any response. He didn't even bother to ask or see the progress of our home till date. Very disappointing experience and can't recommend it.

There are not enough adjectives to describe how wonderful it is to work with Lucy and her team. Not only did they help us sell two properties this year but they also helped us navigate building a new home as well. Lucy and her team are very well versed in the local markets and helped us sell both our homes in 5 days or less. We were extremely impressed by their marketing skills and pricing knowledge especially when it came to selling our townhouse. We put our townhouse on the market at the same time as another one went up for sale in our neighborhood. Thanks to the teams advice, our home sold much sooner than the other property. This team really does provide the best advice when it comes to helping you move a property. Lucy goes above and beyond to communicate with you and answer any and all questions you have. Lucy also is a great negotiator. She was able to help us negotiate our closing costs with the builder a few weeks before closing. This was a huge and unexpected bonus for us. We can not recommend Lucy and her team enough. We believe everything happens for a reason, and we’re so glad that of all the realtors out there the universe helped us connect with Lucy.

Adalie was incredible to work with. We bought a house with unusual circumstances and she did all the foot work. She was able to get us a new roof at no cost to us and we left the closing table with a check in our hand! Outstanding dedication from her and her team! Lucy Lloyd-Smith was an absolute joy to work with. My husband and I are first time home buyers, and required a lot of hand holding during the process. Lucy walked us through what to expect during an inspection all the way to her favorite cafe in the area.
Lucy found us the perfect home, but if we ever decide to move again, we’ll be contacting Lucy.
