About us
Kyle Olson is the founder of the Beyond Homes Team at Keller Williams Classic Realty NW, focusing on taking each client’s real estate experience beyond their expectations. After thirteen-plus years of experience in the industry, he possesses creative negotiation skills, an ability to focus on solutions rather than problems, and empathy for his clients and their unique needs. During his career, he has helped hundreds of people buy, sell, and/or invest in real estate in all areas of the Twin Cities, with an emphasis on the western and northwestern suburbs. Having grown up in Maple Grove and graduating from the University of St. Thomas, Kyle has thorough knowledge and a deep appreciation for everything that makes the Twin Cities a great place to call home. His experience as a catcher playing baseball throughout high school and college (culminating in a 2001 National Baseball Championship win at St. Thomas) has cultivated his strong communication skills and ability to see the end result and the steps necessary to get there successfully. Kyle lives in Maple Grove with his 3 boys; Vann, Sam and Asher.

Jeff and I were beyond happy with our experience working with Kyle and Laura on our first investment property. We were referred to them by a very good friend because of their expertise in short term rental investment properties. We knew very little when we started our conversation with Kyle and Laura, other than knowing we wanted to invest in either a short or long term rental property. However, after our first hour long conversation we already knew so much more because Kyle and Laura are educators as well as realtors. We are beyond excited to continue learning from Kyle and Laura as we embark on this new adventure with our first property on the beautiful Lake Ida in Alexandria, MN! Thank you, Kyle and Laura❤️

Kyle and Laura were great to work with on a land purchase! They pointed out a few things I wasn’t considering and were very knowledgeable throughout. Everything went super smooth and I’d recommend them all day long.

It was amazing to work with Kyle, Carlie, and Laura. They make a great team. We bought when the market was still hot. We made a couple offers and did not get it. They were there for the excitement and disappointment. We ended up finding the house we were meant to be in. They met us on weekends and late evenings to help us find our home. If someone couldn’t make an appointment, someone else would fill in to make it work. It felt like we had a true team of people working for us and with us. They also helped sell our home. This went about as smooth as it could. I have used Kyle and his team for 2 sales and 2 buys. I will continue to use this team on any futures purchases or sales.

Carley, Kyle and Laura did an outstanding job helping my husband and I find/buy our first home.
Carley and Kyle did a great job explaining all the important details that go into buying a house. They were honest in telling us that it wasn’t an easy process, but once the closing papers have been signed it’s worth every minute of it. Carley did a great job scheduling showings and guiding us through what to look for.
The whole Beyond Homes team did a great job answering texts, calls and emails. They were prompt, flexible and helpful through it all!
I would absolutely recommend Beyond Homes to any first time home buyers or anyone looking to buy a home!

Kyle Olson saved the sale of our home! We had a smooth listing process with this great team, and we quickly received a great offer. However; the day before closing we got a call that the buyers' financing fell through. Kyle worked tirelessly to try to figure out a way to keep the sale, and he was - incredibly - able to pull it together. He used his own connections to find the buyers (who weren't even his clients) new financing. It was a tough situation, but Kyle got things done. He truly is a "real bulldog"!

The Beyond Homes sales team sold our house the 2nd day on market... can't ask for better than that! Kyle and Lora were incredible to work with. Professional, responsive, honest, and knowledgeable. Kyle's sales and net projections were spot on and Lora was ultra responsive throughout the process. They are a great team and I highly recommend them to all.

I've used Kyle and Laura's services twice now. Once when selling my rental home and the other time when selling my parents' home. Very happy with the process, their knowledge, professionalism and responsiveness. Kyle comes prepared with detailed research to make sure everyone fully understood the market, and what to expect.
Kyle's easy-going manner is also a huge plus. Even after everything was done, and the documents signed, Kyle was always quick to respond to questions regarding the transaction. Highly recommend!
