First time homebuyers, had our anxieties about the process, especially because we were buying a house 3 hours away from where we lived. Chose Travis because he seemed knowledgeable and straightforward, but rarely worked with him. Instead, another agent worked with us through the process. He was nice and communicative, got the job done. But our biggest grievance is that he told us we had to go with our pre-approval interest rate when our offer got accepted. Grateful we did our own research and negotiated the rate down to a lower percentage. Wish we had a more thorough agent as we couldn't be present for the inspections, and when we came on the closing day we saw many little issues not included in the inspections like cracks, uneven paint, broken items. I don't recommend, especially for first time homebuyers like us who are hoping to get more effective support from their agent.
