The team member I worked with seemed fine initially, but the relationship quickly took an adversarial turn. Things that need improvement: Poor communication - Realtor delayed documents. Was not on the buyer’s side: - Realtor refused to advocate for our interests. Disregard for buyer’s needs - in terms of budget and suitability: - Showed us homes outside our firmly stated price range. - Hand waved away as *normal*, a very real defect that made a property unsuitable for our needs. When we didn’t comply with what they said, they doubled down and catastrophized that our choices were the literally the worst ever. When we didn’t use their preferred lender , they told us: "no seller will accept an offer with your lender" Read the realtor’s disclosures carefully to understand why they push their preferred lender as hard as they do. When we didn’t use their home inspector - they implied that the property had many problems that wouldn’t be found. The realtor lacked the ability or desire to see a situation from any perspective other than their own. It was clear they only cared about getting their commission as quickly as possible. It didn’t matter if it was the right property for us. The realtor also overshared many personal details that portrayed them and their employer in a very negative light. The kindest perspective here is that the realtor truly needed affirmation for their life circumstances from a random stranger. More training could improve personal discipline. Overall it was an unpleasant interaction. The overall disregard for the buyer’s needs and preferences, catastrophizing about the buyer’s choices, and oversharing were very unprofessional. I would not recommend this business even though there are some glowing reviews out there. My guess is that those clients were very compliant. Since the barrier to entry for this profession is very low, I'll still give 3 stars.
