Absolute WORST experience in my career!! Will not be recommending them to any clients. No communication, lender goes out of office on closing day without funding the deal and not one single person in their office will reply! Peter Rusconi will never get our business again. Eileen Allaire at RCN Capital is a pleasure to work with. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and patient with her clients throughout the entire process. Eileen not only works hard to get the deal done, she also makes it a good experience for the customer. She provides excellent customer service that any consumer can appreciate when paying for a service and/or product.

RCN has a clean efficient underwriting process. This particular file had an underwriting hurdle that required extra documents. The borrower delivered both the docs and extra capital to get the loan closed in 4.5 days from the request. It was an outstanding team effort. I was extremely impressed as was the borrower. A first class group.

Was working on 2 different deals at the same time with 2 different lenders (intentionally). One did everything possible to close my deal as quickly as possible (RCN) (about 5 weeks which was too long but we had the holidays and 2+ weeks waiting for an appraisal) and the other lender still as of today more than a week out at best, and this is after 3 months. RCN worked with me to alter my deal so it was win win, which I could live with. The other lender did everything possible to ensure I never call them again, including disallowing most of my flip experience to get better terms for them. RCN was great to work with, very competitive terms, and you only pay interest on the money that is out. Its hard to tell how "bad" underwriting will be until you use them, but I'd use RCN again in a heart beat, no hesitation. They applied the right amount of scrutiny. RCN wants to close deals, and that is what you want as an investor, not what I got with Option B I described within. RCN is one of my first calls for Fix and Flip. Need new construction programs now RCN.... :)
