It was so nice having four people available to help at all times - we didn’t feel like we were constantly bugging one person (though they found us a house and wrote an amazing offer SO QUICKLY that we didn’t end up even meeting the full team!). JUNE 2024 review: I bought a house with the Crisafulli Team last year and had a great experience... but my feelings about that experience changed in 2024 when I decided to sell the house. I chose not to sell with Crisafulli, because of the low estimation for its sales price and another local real estate team being more confident in the sales price (it ultimately sold for $35k more than the estimate). The estimation from the agent is not the reason I am updating this review. During the sales process, my first buyer backed out... and that's when I learned a buyer can get their earnest money back. No one on the Crisafulli Team informed me during the April - June 2023 buying process I could get my earnest money back under certain conditions, such as due to inspection findings by a certain date. I think it is egregious that I was never informed that I could back out of the house contract and get my earnest money because when I was concerned about the inspection results. I was anxious over the sewer scope results. Sam talked me through solutions, such as getting insurance policies that cover sewer lines, but never once mentioned I could decide not to purchase the house and get my earnest money back. Ironically, this was the reason my first buyer's backed out and got their earnest money back which is how I learned this lesson. Additionally, I stood in that house during the inspection and said, "I don't know if this is where I want to be in 10 years." My agent replied that I could rent it out in two years. His only response to me having second thoughts was just that I could turn it into a rental... there was never a question such as, 'do you want to go forward with this purchase?' I genuinely thought I was locked in. I am ultimately an adult and chose to put in an offer, but I think the trust I gave to the agent(s) was violated when I never once was told I had to the right to back out - whether just because I no longer felt it was the right call and would forfeit the earnest money, or that I could have gotten my earnest money back due to the inspection results. In early 2024, I did recommend Sam to a friend who successfully purchased a house. However, when I only learned that buyer's had the right to back out and get their earnest money back for certain reasons in May 2024... I can no longer recommend someone trust this team with such an important transaction like buying a house. I regret that I have to update a previously glowing review, but I didn't know then that the team had failed me as a buyer. Everyone at the Crisafulli team was great to work with. I worked mainly with Trinity to sell a house in Wellington but spoke with other team members at various points. The team was responsive, attentive, and great with scheduling showings around the holiday season. The fixed fee saved me a lot of money. The buyers agent at closing said they were some of the best realtors the closer has worked with. Very communicative and on top of everything from start to finish. I would fully recommend the Crisafulli Team for any home buying or selling. Terrific people and a great team.
