Our lease date began January 1st. Since moving into the building managed by this company, my boyfriend and I have experienced nothing but problems. Here’s a run down of the issues and how incapable the management is at addressing these issues.
We were told an electrical inspection would occur to make sure everything is in working order. The date that the management gave us for the inspection was either incorrect or non existent, because no one ever came to check our electric. We are still living with outlets that do not function.
Day one of moving into our apartment we went to take a shower. There is a major leak in the faucet that shoots across our bathroom, resulting in a wet floor and then became an issue for the first floor neighbors. We told them about this issue the very next day.
When maintenance arrived almost an entire week later, we were told they cannot fix the faucet leak because the valves do not shut the water off completely. This means the building has to have the water shut off completely in order to do necessary repairs. Understandable.
What is not understandable is that maintenance failed to turn our hot water back on to the bathroom. We were still going to use the shower regardless of the leak, because the bottom line is that’s managements issue. These issues should have been addressed before our move in date of January 1st. This is day two of being unable to shower.
I called the emergency line today at 11:20 am. I spoke to Juan. I then get a text message that they are unable to fix the issue, that they need a plumber. However this is for the faucet issue, NOT for the hot water issue. We just need a measly valve to be turned back on. I am unable to do it myself. Turn our hot water back on.
Not to mention the dismal “renovations” the company stated they were working on before we moved in. None of our doors close properly, we have no deadbolt on our door, the water pressure to the kitchen barely works, and we have electrical outlets that fail to work. This is absolute joke of renovations. All they did was replace the floor and painted over everything. They failed to make sure our utilities worked properly and safely. The incompetencies from this management company that we have experienced in just a week reflects how much they care about tenants. Additionally, when a unit does not have working hot water, it is against the tenant law of “warranty of habitability law”, where hot water needs to be included for washing and bathing.
I have put in multiple maintenance requests and called the emergency line. Not to mention, last time we tried to call the emergency line because our pipes were shaking, we were threatened with a fee for “misusing” the emergency line. The plumbing here is in shambles and no tenant should be expected to live in such conditions.
Buyer beware. This is just our first week. Too bad we have to wait 8 months until our lease is up. They really don’t care about their tenants or the issues that they bring up. An absolute nightmare of a company to work with.

Benjamin was very consistent and professional during the entire process. He was patient with every question and concern that I had voiced and made sure that I got the apartment I really wanted. When I reach out to the company about concerns with anything they are very quick to respond and do what is asked of them. So far my entire experience has been a pleasure and I am loving my new home. Thank you MREM!

I had the pleasure of working with Ben as my realtor. The entire process was very quick and smooth. After setting up an appointment to view the apartment, and doing a lockbox walkthrough, I submitted an online application. I heard back from Ben the next morning. Despite having other obligations on a Friday, Ben was able to help me with the entire process, and we had a lease signed by the end of the day so I could start moving in that weekend. No complaints at all.

Absolutely atrocious company. They bought the trailer park I lived in a few months back and now they're trying to charge me for the entire month of June when I moved out on June 1st despite my lease explicitly stating the following: "it is the intent of both parties that this lease is for a period of 12 months. Should this lease be breached by the resident, the indeminification deposit shall be forfeited as liquidated damages and the resident will owe rent through the last day of occupancy". They also are trying to charge me a $150 cleaning fee. I've attached photos as evidence for the public to see how clean I left that trailer. They're impossible to get ahold of and super shady. They tried to get me to sign something saying I would pay the full month of June, going against my lease. I told them I wouldn't sign it. I moved out June 1st and they acknowledge that, but still insist I pay them for the full month? I would NEVER rent from this company. Renters beware!!!
Update; I'm attaching email correspondence as well now as further evidence of their shady practices. Regarding the response to this review about the length of my lease; that has nothing to do with anything. Yes, I left early. That means I forfeit my security deposit and am responsible for paying through my last day of occupancy, as per the terms of the legally binding lease that I signed upon move-in. My complaint and issue is with being charged past my last day of occupancy and with being charged a cleaning fee when the trailer was immaculate and ready to be rented out same-day. I will be seeking legal assistance with this matter.
