About us
Cornerstone’s mission is to improve our community one home at a time by improving the lives of our Owners and Tenants through honest, transparent, and professional property management services. The Cornerstone Real Estate Team provides real estate services (residential management, leasing and sales) in Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas. We have two distinct teams – one team focused on management of residential properties, and another team focused on residential sales. Cornerstone manages over 490 units in Colorado Springs. We consistently maintain a vacancy rate less than 5%. We manage single family homes, multi-family properties (duplexes, fourplexes, etc.) and a small apartment complex. We have five Property Managers, a New Accounts Specialist, an Office Manager, two Assistant Property Managers, two Administrative Assistants, an Accountant and a Maintenance Coordinator (who maintains consistent working relationships with maintenance contractors) to care for the properties we manage. We are a portfolio-management company, which means that you will have one point of contact for your property – your Portfolio/Property Manager (PM). The Portfolio Manager is your one point of contact for leasing, management, maintenance, etc. – all things related to your investment property. Our Portfolio Managers are all licensed real estate agents. We manage your property with disciplined rent collection and lease enforcement, minimized expenses, current technology, and a low vacancy rate. We are veteran-owned and operated, with six veterans on our team and over 130 years of combined military service among our team members. We bring the work ethic and values we developed in the military with us to work each day.

Tina had recently shown my family a house and was very informative. She made a good proper introduction and invited us to see a home locally. Upon arrival she was quick to greet my family and let us know all the details. Was also able to give recommendations of other properties she had listed. Would definetly go through then in a heartbeat as she was engaged in contact constantly for setting up appointments for viewing as well making adequate accommodations. Thank you soo much Tina for being loyal to your perspective tenants. Will definetly be returning very soon.☺️

Elizabeth V. with Cornerstone is one of the best agents I have ever worked with. She is very attentive, understanding, helpful, and hardworking. We are lucky to have found her to help us transition and will use her for future real estate needs.

We are renters, and Liz is the property manager for the house we live in. Even though the homeowner is technically the client, Liz is always going above and beyond to help us get important repair and maintenance issues resolved as soon as possible. I believe Liz is the third property manager we've dealt with while living in this house, and she is a 1000% improvement on the previous property managers. She takes the time to actually listen to and understand our concerns, and she documents what's going on, so we don't have to start over from scratch every time we talk with her. She is thoughtful and courteous, and validating of our right to privacy, and often expresses her appreciation for how we take care of the home we rent. Even though it is a business relationship, she is as approachable as a good friend.

Was super impressed with Liz. She went above and beyond! She went completely out of her way to show me several different houses over this weekend because that’s what worked best for me. She has stayed in contact with me to help me find something that could fit my needs. I am still looking and I hope to find something with her as my property manager because she’s the best. AMAZING customer service. Give this girl a raise!

I enjoyed the team from the first time they came to our home. Liz was and is amazing. She was very open and receptive to my concerns before and after we decided to use Cornerstone to manage our property. Liz is also very responsive to my texts or phone calls. Since we are new rental owners, she took her time to explain what they do and what they don't do. I am at ease knowing that Liz and the Cornerstone team will be managing my property. Thanks again Liz!

So I want to start by saying, I'm not the type of person to leave reviews. We have been doing business with this company for around 10 years, and I feel I should give them the recognition that they deserve. My wife and I are distant landlords we could not continue to manage our properties appropriately without the help of the great people that have put in charge of our properties.
Like Elizabeth, she has been our rock to lean on through hail storms, water damage, and has been our advocate when handling business with the tenants. Cornerstone has gathered a good selection of contractors that are efficient, dependable, and fairly priced. Elizabeth has been there to handle communication with these contractors as much as possible, which has allowed us to reduce the stress of having to trust someone we've never met or done business with. Along with being on top of things and keeping us informed of what the expectation are.
We could not continue to do this without the help from the team at Cornerstone along with the resources and expertise they provide. If you are looking for assistance managing your property in Colorado Springs, We highly recommend giving Cornerstone a chance.

We have lived under Cornerstone for 3 years and the experience that my family and I have had with the Property Manager Elizabeth Van Vleet is nothing but amazing!! Anytime we have had any issues with the home she answered promptly and had maintenance over as soon as possible. Her communication with us was never delayed, so as a family we couldn't ask for anything more!! It has been a real pleasure working with you guys as a company! And I want to extend my deepest gratitude for the most pleasant living space for me and my family!
