Reedy & Company was founded in 2002 by Jim Reedy and his wife, Debi. Since then it has grown from being a small local realtor group that started managing homes in 2009, to a full-service property management company that accumulated over 1,850 homes by the end of 2015. Reedy manages homes owned by local and foreign investors, and offers more services to investors than most; everything from private financing to property management, and sales. Our mission is to be the most successful property management company in Memphis, TN, while providing full service and care to our clients, properties, and team members. The key to our growth and prosperity is a direct result of our exceptional management team; we incorporate proven, professional techniques specializing in the marketing and maintenance of single-family housing, property management, and investment portfolios. We are a family business that is not only personal and dedicated but strives for excellence to ensure the success of our clients and our future. Very unpleasant experience. Promised appliances, no appliances when viewing. Asked them about it and they assured us they would be there. took our application fee then proceeded to say there would be no appliances. Told us they would give us our much needed fee back ($100 total). Did not. Said to call them if we didn’t get it back and we did,,, several times... It’s been almost a month. Pretty sure he’s ghosting us. Don’t do business with this company!

I would not recommend renting with reedy and company. Everything was fine the first year and a half then we got charged for a missed appointment with maintenance. But maintenance came waaay earlier than the time scheduled. AFTER i told them no one would be home at that time… then when it comes to moving out, they said we owed money due to damages! I have proof that the house was not damaged. Minus the blinds and bathrooom vanity. They are charging $1073 for paint but it was already half done when we moved in so! Then I also go to check on my dispute and they lost my damn dispute submission. So now I’m back at square one because they don’t want to give my security deposit back! They will most definitely butter you up to make it sound good but when it’s time to move out and make maintenance appointments. They will most definitely screw you to get extra money! I would be satisfied if they gave removed the charge for the paint! We can take accountability for damaging the blinds and bathroom vanity! We have a toddler, but the paint that was half done when we moved in is outrageous and not to mention the house wasn’t even clean when we got our keys!

Our experience with Reedy & Company as first-time property owners using a property management service was extremely disappointing. Our portfolio manager was rude, unprofessional, and lacked knowledge. Many of our questions went unanswered because she frequently had to consult others for basic information.
1. Rent Price: We provided a rental price based on a professional appraiser’s market valuation, but the company rented the property at a lower rate without consulting us. After raising this issue, they agreed to credit us the difference.
2. Maintenance Requests: Reedy & Company requires the use of their contractors, who appear to be family or close associates. Quotes for repairs were exorbitant, and we were not allowed to seek outside contractors. For example, we were invoiced thousands of dollars for plumbing work on a newly renovated property. When we asked for clarification, the portfolio manager couldn’t explain the charges. After multiple calls with the plumber, even he was unaware of the details on the invoice.
This experience was frustrating and unprofessional, and there were numerous other issues that we don’t even have the energy to detail here.

I was working with Kanyon Elliott and he did an amazing job , coaching me through and helping out with my application process. He was very communicative, and answered any and every question I had for him! This is definitely an amazing company with amazing people who gives GREAT SERVICE AND SUPPORT !

From the first moment that I stepped into REEDY’s office or spoke with someone about rental houses. With reading, I was greeted with much respect. Professionalism went out of their way to help me, especially a B and Miss Beverly. I have not had not one element one problems since I’ve been in my home. They are the utmost greatest place to rent a home from if you need apartments they also have those they are all about making you feel at home and making your home your home.

My experience with Mahogany has been extremely great! She was so sweet and well informative on the moving process. I was extremely stressed and sad upon finding a place but she was very approachable and work with me a long the way. I’m so grateful for the experience and looking forward to working with her in the near future.

I know people have lots of opinions but so far Reedy has been great with us. No one has ever been rude or overstepped. I do have to give a compliment to Kelly in the sales department. She went above and beyond to help answer my questions and to make sure I was good. I’ve been with Reedy for going on four years and have always been happy. They could have raised my rent much higher by now but they haven’t so I’m a happy tenant.
