I represent a condo owner in a complex where EJF took over management about 6 months ago. They have worked hard to clean up issues left by the previous management company. They have been pro-active and clear in communications and very responsive, friendly, and helpful when I had questions. I recommend them.

EJF recently took over administering our very challenged Coop apartments. After several years, and a series of overwhelmed administrators who tried, it only resulted in our backsliding, I have to say EJF's actions over the last 8 months have started us on a long road back to success.
Although this is a review of the overall organization, and the professionalism at EVERY LEVEL, I have to point out Maria Bernales, who has been a pleasure to work with and has helped me through a number of concerns with professionalism, attention to detail and a great deal of patience. You are lucky to have her, but with the great caliber of people you have, it is not surprising. Everyone has been exceptional, however she does rise above.
I can not go into the great difficulties that our organization has had for many years, but I am convinced that if we had been with EJF years ago, we would not be facing the challenges we are facing today, but now we are aimed in the right direction and moving forward, which is the best that be done.
If you are considering EJF or have just started with them, all of my experience says, you are in good hands, with people who will hear you and work with you to get the right answer ~ and explain why it is the right answer.
Thanks,
Al McMahon

My cooperative apartment complex contracted EJF to manage it after 2 terrible companies. They are doing their best to organize our finances. Their accounting system has been difficult for some of us to adapt to. I have called their help line several times and gotten pleasant, patient help each time, especially from Leemuel.

Flynn has managed property for us since 1977 and the consummate professionalism has been constant, accommodating, obliging, expert, reliable — all this and more through the years.
As they expanded and evolved they hired and/or trained with great success because we have been served so well at all times. Most recently it was Sheilla S. and Sylvester who helped us. But anyone we ever needed did the same.

Last night, I arrived home to find my code would not unlock the door. I called their maintenance line which directed me to a third party vendor responsible for after hours maintenance. This vendor was not able to reach EJF to resolve the situation. I was unable and unwilling to not access my unit, so after giving EJF 2.5 hours to remedy the situation, I had a locksmith come.
I think a tenant unable to access their unit, particularly through no fault of their own, rises to the level of an after hours emergency that the management company should handle immediately. EJF, however, did not handle the situation at all.
Additionally, they reached out to me to attempt to get me to pay a cleaning fee to clean up some debris and trash in a nearby property that is not mine.
So far, the recent switch in my unit to EJF has been a disaster and will probably result in me leaving my unit, which I have been in for 7 years.

Thank you to Josh Alindao and the team at EJF for your prompt response to my apartment maintenance request! After having some issues with my unit's heat pump, Josh quickly connected me to one of EJF's maintenance vendors, and the issue was resolved that day. Josh kept me updated throughout the process and provided great follow-up support. Big thank you for your responsiveness!

A couple days prior to our property manager informing us of departing tenants and damage to our property, I contacted EJF property management services.
Conrad helped us get started within a day, and the whole team helped us rent the space after all the repairs within a few days. The team is very responsive and guides you throughout the process. This is a company I highly recommend!
