I am displeased & believed to be tricked into applying to only to pay someone’s commission. I toured & applied on 11/1/24 with Johanna. I waited literally 12 days after calling/texting for a update on my application. I got this text on 11/12/24 that my lease was on its way to me. I waited for days & even called on 11/14/24 to the office looking for the two names that was mentioned. It is 11:17 a.m on 11/20/24 and I never received a lease or a update to my status. I have worked in the property management industry for 10 years and never left a future resident hanging like this. This is truly unacceptable! I demand some type of explanation. Believe some of the bad reviews, they have the similar mannerism of car salesmen. Once they get their commission, they can care less about you. Condo viewed was nice though.

Johnna was amazing, her ability to walk me through the renting process and all the regulations around it was super helpful and made me feel very safe in her capable hands. She has a positive attitude and great customer service. I would highly recommend her if you are looking to rent your house.

Probably the worst people I have dealt with. Maybe not all of them but not a good experience overall. They offered to clean the carpets when moving in and assured I would not be paying. Then they were weeks late on cleaning (said they would clean before move in, they didn't). They then ask me find a carpet cleaning service. I get the cleaning, then they proceed to tell me they wont pay and neither will the owner. Finally settled where I paid part of the carpet cleaning (weeks later). They didn't tell me to threaten to sue the owner for the carpet cleaning fiasco, but told me that was an option, pitting me against the owner where they could not deal with me anymore for a problem they started. Then after putting in a service request months later, to fix a part of the bathroom, they told me no cause they don't want to send someone for only one task and wanted to wait for multiple things broken. I replied saying no, come fix this now, its your job. Horrible. They are very attending, caring, and resourceful until after they lock you in. After that, they sometime take days to respond, very unhelpful and don't seem to care. Fake. Thanks Mary, 0/10. Stay away from this company.

TLDR: For everyone's safety, do not rent from or with Renters Warehouse. They assign any maintenance person available to whatever ticket is open and they can't talk to the technicians they send to your property, only the landlord. Anyone who has lived in an old house should know how stupid this set up is. Even when my basement was actively flooding, they said they couldn't do anything until the landlord approved it. My air conditioning has been broken since we moved in almost a year ago. We've had every single maintenance ticket closed without being confirmed if the problem is solved. Maintenance tickets for the broken stove burners and a broken toilet are closed every single time I try to put it into the system for literally MONTHS without being fixed. I have an alarm on my phone to try again every Monday, they're closed by Wednesday without a word. The phone line is manned by people who are good at lying or know less than you about anything going on. I had a lawyer look at our lease but it is barely legal enough that I can't break the lease early without taking the cost financially, or I very much would. Any landlord that gives Renters Warehouse their property either doesn't care or doesn't know better, both of which are dangerous to rent from.

I would like to share a review of Rose Valerio of Renters Warehouse. I had made an appointment to come to a rental property Rose was showing. She was kind enough to give me a tour and speak to me about the neighborhood and answer all of my questions. She asked pertinent questions to make sure I was a good fit for the property. I passed on that rental home but came away with Rose’s card and a feeling Rose was not only an advocate for the homeowner but for myself also. Rose and I kept in touch and within the month I rented a lovely property that Rose was professional and kind enough to know would be the perfect fit for me. I found Rose to be competent, professional and personable. I could tell she loved her job and was skilled in doing it well. I attribute my good fortune in loving my rental property to Rose and her determination. Thank you for the opportunity to give a much deserved review. Carole McCreadie

Rose was a true professional from start to finish. We’ve worked with her before and we were happy to have another opportunity. She kept in touch throughout the entire process, providing feedback on any needed changes for the property based on showings. Rose found us great tenants for the townhouse. Highly recommend her services

Rose has been and continues to be excellent. She made the rental process super easy walking me through step by step. She has always been available for questions of any kind and always gets back to me quick. I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to make this process as easy and stress free as possible.

Met Mary at a property that's been on the market for over 30 days this past weekend. Within 4 hours of seeing property I messaged her and asked if she had received any applications, as I would like to apply. She read my message but did not respond. I messaged yesterday again, and asked if property is still available because it was still showing as available online, and again she ready my message and did not respond. It always baffles my mind why people and organizations who can't offer good service are in the business of serving the public. Renter's Warehouse should be following up on the negative reviews posted here, and training staff to provide better service. Please don't waste our time.
