Robin has an extensive background in investment real estate financing, previously servicing as a Manager in EY’s structured finance consulting group focusing on CMBS (Commercial-Mortgage-Backed-Securities) securitizations and as Chief Investment Officer of Stronghill Capital, focusing on the origination and portfolio management of small balance commercial and investment residential loans.

In addition to BiggerPockets, he frequently shares insider insights on investment real estate lending through weekly articles on Easy Street Capital’s Industry Insights blog, numerous podcast interviews and active participation on social media. Robin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & History from Vanderbilt University and Master in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a licensed CPA and active in the Austin real estate community, servicing on the Leadership Development Council (2020-2021) and membership committee (2018-Present) of the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA).
