Robert Ring

Robert Ring is a mortgage advisor for CrossCountry Mortgage in Walnut Creek, California.

Experience
Growing up, Robert learned a lot from his father, a commercial and residential real estate developer. He got into the home financing business eight years ago at age 21 and has assembled an outstanding support team, which has helped him rank consistently among the top originators nationwide for production.

Robert enjoys educating borrowers and others in the industry through podcasts, blogging, and other avenues. He has spoken at several real estate conferences and events, including Mortgage Revolution and Mortgage Mastermind in Las Vegas.

Locally, Robert teaches house hacking classes in Oakland (now virtually) about twice a month, where he shares information about how to buy multi-units as a first-time homebuyer with only a small amount down. He goes over pro-formas, rental laws, property taxes, development, and everything homebuyers need to know about acquiring and managing multi-unit properties. He then shows real-life scenarios of past clients so people can get a realistic sense of how to accomplish their goals. Robert is also a real estate investor and bought his first multi-unit home at the age of 25. He is currently developing additional units on two investment properties.

Media
Robert has also been a guest on multiple podcasts and real estate shows, including Mortgage Coach, Real Estate Uncensored, I Love Mortgage Brokering, and Get Real, which is broadcast worldwide on Adobo Nation, a Filipino television network.
