A New Chapter at BiggerPockets: Welcoming TCG, Celebrating 3 Million Members, and Introducing New Tools Designed to Uplevel Your Investments

At BiggerPockets, we’ve spent the last 20 years focusing on democratizing real estate investment and making it accessible for everyone, regardless of experience level. We do this by curating a dynamic stream of industry expert insights alongside members’ compelling real-life stories—of both triumphs and missteps. More recently, we’ve layered in a variety of tools and matchmaking services to help investors find, analyze, finance, and manage their properties. 

Seven years ago, we set out on a one trillion dollar objective: to help create one million millionaires through real estate. And, we’ve made remarkable progress towards that goal. Earlier this year, we polled you, the BiggerPockets community, and found that 29% of our members are accredited investors—mostly via net worth. That’s an estimated 870,000 millionaires in this community. 

And as we approach this massive goal, it’s time to start thinking about what’s next and how to 10X our original vision. It’s time to solve the new wave of investing challenges that are emerging in the wake of rising interest rates and a changing investment landscape. 

We’ve traveled the country to meet our millions of members, interviewed at least 10 investors every week across our podcasts, and solicited feedback, or just talked with you about our favorite subject—real estate. We have tens of thousands of pieces of qualitative feedback that we merged with market and survey data.

And the challenges are clear—investors have trouble deciding where to invest, finding properties, financing those properties, and building trusted teams with investor-friendly professionals like agents, lenders, property managers, and contractors to purchase and manage those properties. And in conjunction with those investing challenges, you want more from us—more analytical tools, more opportunities to network via meetups, or more ideas for passive investments. All of these challenges need to be addressed in the context of higher interest rates and a more challenging market in which to find cash flowing properties. 

That’s why we’re so excited to announce a majority investment from The Chernin Group (TCG)—one that we know will enable us to supercharge our platform and better support our community. Real Estate Tax Pro Finder

The Real Estate Tax Pro Finder connects investors with real estate specialist CPAs, enrolled agents, bookkeepers, and financial planners. Investors know all too well that a generalist CPA often does not cut it, and the Tax Pro Finder allows investors to match with tax professionals who are accepting clients and are peer-reviewed by investors for qualities like responsiveness. 

Property Manager Finder

Property Manager Finder streamlines the process of finding reliable property managers. Investors frequently cite problems with property managers as a reason they slow or stop their investing. On BiggerPockets, you will now find property managers who are peer-reviewed by investors and have the opportunity to interview multiple candidates in most US markets. 

The Property Manager Finder and Tax Pro Finder are completely free to use, and the Deal Finder and Market Finder are included in our Pro Membership. All new and existing Pro Members can use them immediately.
