Looks like they disposed of whatever the chemical was in the trash bin,  and put the bin on the concrete driveway where it leaked further creating another dark stain that the power washer also couldn't get out.

You might be able to find cut & polished, aka prefinished, granite slabs for kitchens & bathrooms, which can be cheaper than some laminates.

Personally, I'd much rather rent to a responsible dog owner who's grateful to live someplace that accepts her dog and who pays a premium for the privilege, and who makes sure to leave the unit in excellent condition so she can get a much needed reference on her next place, than to a permissive parent whose kids draw on walls and spill nail polish on hardwoods.

To properly fix a piece of laminate you have to remove all the pieces up to that piece to get to it and then have a matching piece or you could try to color it with nail polish and/or fill with caulk.

I have concrete ones at my multi-family spaces and tenants bump into them in some cases cause the concrete stop to crack and break away from the rebar that fasten them to the driveway.I wonder if these rubber ones would take more abuse?
