The basement is currently an open space sitting on concrete and being used as a shop and storage. 

It is concrete proof that what you are doing WORKED. and more than ANYTHING, you can see for yourself that YOU... yes YOU can do it.

The house I'm fixing is stucco and concrete block.

Poured a new concrete driveway and garage floor I know, and needed some refinishing inside but no MAJOR damage. 

I consider myself somewhere between novice and intermediate, and the program has helped me set and achieve concrete goals.The most priceless aspect of the program is the community.

Rather than staying in and polishing the tools you've gained- go out and use those tools! 

The property has a large concrete block building on it with a roof that needs repairing.

I would start investing in properties around Baltimore but not yet since I want to build a concrete base and then jump into the rehab properties.Please let me know if you think its wise to invest in these areas Laurel, Columbia, and Owing mills and if there are any areas that i need to be careful with.

If you are doing exterior work that requires good weather (paint, concrete, etc) then the cold can impact it (of course snow, rain, wind, etc).
