She had found a house in the country that was going up for owner occupant HUD auction with an asking price of 44k.  

Moving to a different country and speak a different langage was too appealing.We sold the house and of course made big profits.When we moved here, we decided to rent to give us some time to analyze the market before buying.

I also realized that although returns on Las Vegas real estate seemed spectacular compared to NY, there are other areas of the country offering even better returns today. 

I look forward to meeting even more folks across the country.

I want to be able to enjoy life to the fullest and have the ability to travel, especially getting to see my brother and his family who live across the country more than once or twice a year.

I'm more familiar with Rhode Island until about 18th NE, but I haven't ventured closer to South Dakota and Eastern Ave.

I work 3 weeks on (out of country) and then I have 3 weeks off. 

We are focusing on flipping and rental properties.I look forward to meeting others in my area and around the country that can assist and use whatever assistance we can offer in the real estate world.
