I can't tell what part of the country you are in but I bet there is one where you are...or one in the market you are targeting.

I actually come from a finance background, having studied economics and finance at Penn State, and worked as an analyst for a small advisory firm in Manhattan Beach, CA, prior to starting my career in music.In 2016, after nearly 6 years in Los Angeles, I relocated myself to Nashville to be closer to the business of country and Americana music I was developing, to be closer to family (some in Indianapolis, some in Chicago), and to give myself opportunities to build wealth faster.  

oh hi, i just saw this. yes co-signing is no problem. they would rent the place themselves (from across the country), pay four months up front, etc. my impression is that every prospective landlord will require me to fill out an application and then will either try or succeed at talking to my recent "landlords". 

@Karoline KingKeep in mind, Georgia is one of the cheapest housing markets in the country right now. $400,000 buys you a lot in Georgia.

Anyway, the point of this is to say you cannot apply the same strategies touted on BP to other countries or for that matter the desirable areas of the US either (like California or New York or Seattle etc).

Sure enough a friend of the family is in the process of packing up their lives and moving to another part of the country to retire.
