I'm looking at HUD home tomorrow, pre-bid.In what I assume was an attempt to filter me as a serious buyer the realtor informed me that he has seen cracks in the drywall, bricks, and tile work in the house.

The issue here is that a card is in the company name, it may not even show on his personal credit, but what is going on is that it can appear, later on, looks like an attempt of credit card fraud, holding a credit card in the name of a non-existent company.

I recognize this as a commercial service with no affiliation to any federal, state, or local entities.Has anyone heard of any refinance homeowner being so solicited and is this just an attempt to "sell" me documents which I would otherwise receive from the LA County Recorder in 6-8 weeks?
