Or would it be more advantageous/cost effective to go the tradtional route of finding a turn key property via a real estate agent and then setting a team in place thereafter - property manager, handyman etc.?

I concur on the unprecedented build up of units with no buyers..The Chinese effect is more localized than one that would cause a US melt down in RE.And when the prices get fairly good in the better markets the Chinese investor will scoop them up of that I have no doubt
