Exceptions are when they cannot be put in the tenants' name (I have that for a few of mine, I get the bill, and the tenants pay me that amount) or if you have two units on the same meter so you don't know how much each unit uses.

this would be an opportunity to convert these units to add meters on the 4 units which would cost me upfront but long run it will be saving by assign the electricity back to the tenants to be held responsible to pay the electricity.

If the tenant the turns it on themselves, the water meter is removed within 24 hours.And then the landlord gets a citation from the local council as you must have water and trash to a property?
