If you are wanting to build equity faster find a house that needs lipstick type work and do some painting and landscaping and get the curb appeal up while having minimal outlay on fund and keep saving hard to get your next 5% down.Things to look at is buy multi with FHA and look at houses that can be converted for conventional loans and you can rotate the loans around as see fit.
