Paul,Miss understood the Personal part, so basically in the end you are paying tax on the income you get paid from the "salary" you take out from the Canadian co. so you will be taxed at the personal level in Canada ( reduce that as much as you can), your corp. will not be taxed for the income and the houses will not make any money. i can not see why you could not do that, you will have to figure the interest rate to allow enough profit to pay bills and to be able to claim the deductions against the income. do not think you can show negative results every year, that's an IRS red flag right there.
