If I was looking to buy that home, I would wonder how My kids would brush their teeth in the sink, it would be a mess, how do you clean that thing?

Sure, mainly by finding a distressed property you can get cheap enough and not paying too high in financing (if not sinking your cash into it).

I can't put  a price on it, but I'm done with the sinking feeling that comes every time my son asks me to play baseball or Candy Land but I can't because I'm on the phone or on the way out the door at 7 in the evening.

The sink has been stolen as well as all the copper.

The oven area looks like it is across the room on its own.The old sink and toilet looked re-usable.

Even with C as Kristine pointed out I'd have to somehow scrounge up a lot more cash to sink into the deal.

Don't rush to discuss owner financing or you will sink the deal.  

@Andrej Petrovski I have seen on some posts that some people would pay the occupants a lump some to get out and to keep the house in good condition.i want to say the amount was $20k wich is a lot of money in my opinion.I guess it all depends on what the place is worth and what you may have to spend if they do take/sell everything but the kitchen sink.

Adding a sink and shower is doable as I could connect it to the kitchen supply and drain but adding a toilet is too much time and money..

So everyone is living in 120 year old houses that have been split into 3-6 small apartments...the upper floors often have weird low ceiling angles in some or all rooms...like  over the sink or a bedroom window because they squeeze out just a little more space.
