(I ask this one as I see a lot of recommendations of utilizing an attorney to acquire foreclosed homes, but absolutely no idea what type of attorney, how to integrate them with a broker, etc.).5)  Any other information that is important that I may have skipped over here.I completely get the general concepts, but so far, all the books I have read and websites/videos I have researched are just a bunch of hype. 

Could anybody recommend me books, videos or any other resources to start learning.

Alhambra, just south, is much friendlier to development, but it sounds like you are looking in the areas with excellent school ratings. 

I work with a few excellent brokers and directly with regional banks.

Spend the two years learning markets and excelling at your job and you wont have to settle on a house 2 hours away from Boston in a C class neighborhood. 

It can be an excellent secondary source of liquidity.

Check out paperstac.com which is an excellent marketplace service dedicated to putting buyers and sellers of notes together.
