As an engineer myself, I really love what I do, cons are traveling too much and spending way too much time away from my love ones (and that's basically what drives me to continue investing).Regarding your inexperience in REI, I would recommend to start small, get the experience to be a Landlord, and grow with time.

The road for travelling workers is pretty rough, all kinds of unsavory women and men are on that path. 

I don't travel there for work as often as I used to and have a growing family.

So many travel expenses I thought I could write off should not have been written off because I didn't keep the receipts or could not proof they are related to my rental business!!

Would love to see what others have found in their travels.

I've been traveling the world for three years, so I have no home base, though I like the idea of splitting time between USA and Mexico.

Initially before deciding i was going to get into wholesaling, I fought with the ethics of wholesaling until i decided that i'm going to walk the road less traveled and be completely honest with my potential sellers.

Or just look at the traveling nurses sector or maybe furnished corporate?  

I'm working on being operational in multiple cities without having to constantly travel to the project with doing small to large renovation projects.
