"The truth will set you free" is such a powerful statement that practically everyone takes for granted.

Some of the things you need to understand are zoning, floodplains, floodways, legal access, easements, surveys, power access, sewer/perk, ESA, encroachments, surveys, subdivision law, and deed restrictions.

I have always been fascinated with the power of compaction and the ability to, in a sense, control your future with investments in real estate.

I did hear from an HVAC guy to watch out for the ones that are BLUETOOTH enabled, although they are convenient, apparently in a case where there's a storm and power shuts off, it tends to scramble the Thermostat unit....Account Closed Incredible right....

We have a ton of flippers nearby, so often buy used cabinets/appliances for dirt cheap--- don't underestimate the power of paint!

Because of their processes, relationships, and buying power, you're not paying any more than the additional markup that you paid your contractor, AND you have a warranty. 

Great way to put it in a nutshell - take responsibility so you have the power to change what you don't like!
