I was out of work most of that year and looking for opportunities.Of course, that was before the internet.

I have basic real estate knowledge from reading the Ultimate Beginner's Guide and other sources from the internet.

We were going to include utility's because I couldn't think of a fair way to split them up, as well as allowing them to use our wireless internet.

From internet searches both seem to be in a "safe" part of their respective cities.

Don't let your age throw you-- I was running internet businesses starting at 16 with significant revenues, contractors, employees, assets etc. without a problem, and started with REI at 21, I never really considered my age an issue, and neither did anyone else. 

And of course this was pre internet  So I guess we are talking Dinosaur days.What makes crowdfunding unique of course is the internet and the mass media and the investors making investments basically with a click of the mouse.. we had to do it the old fashion way we had to pick up the phone.. :)
