There is a handy search bar in the upper right that makes it easy to find previous discussions, blogs, podcasts, and other resources.

Use as many resources you can find.

However, I have struggled to find books/resources on this sort of RE (which is probably a good thing) - does anyone have any recommendations on where I can find any podcasts/books/websites/etc to shorten the learning curve? 

Most humans, once our basic needs and security are met, are far better off in life by measuring incremental joy than by measuring incremental financial returns.
