Long term are more stable with rents and STR is seen a s business with adjusting rates, constant repairs and trying to market your property above the rest to become a super host. 

The inn has been hosting guests from all over the world for over 50 years.

This is simply a cloud on title that they need to correct. 

Mortgage liens and other types liens (municipal liens, tax liens, etc) are the main things they are looking for in a title search, because liens create a "cloud" on title.
