My advice would be to educate yourself first, attend some, Multifamily meetups, investor groups first then maybe some paid conferences and workshops but not sales pitch fest events.

That said, I did attend their free class and bought a ticket to their three day workshop this weekend.

It also has a 20x30 detached garage/workshop which seems like a great sell to a future tenant. 

I actually punch people (in a nice way) when I go to free seminars where workshops and courses are sold by snake oil salesmen.

RE workshops tell people to go to certain area and everybody crowds there.

We are extremely confident in the Airbnb model as it has worked for us in our current home for the past year (we own a 2-family home and list the 2nd apartment as a short-term rental).My wife and I both attended a Fortune Builders workshop last year and where inclined to invest in their Jumpstart program simply for the access to the contracts, forms, legal procedures and their back-end-office system.

Very often nowadays, I think of what a relief it would be if I knew when and where the next pain in my butt was coming from.A quiet life on a mountain by the sea with your hobbies and workshops to do them in  sounds great to me, Jim. 

On Friday I went to a workshop on Opportunity Zones in South Lake Tahoe, California.

I thought it would be more effective if the card was for one of those training courses, education workshop, house tour, or meet-up.
