Steve Short 2 so far, for the year
21 June 2016 | 8 replies
(We looked extensively in Colorado as well)Deals are out there, but this one took us almost 6 months to find.Know your area(s), know your limits. We'll be trying for 4 this year, but as it is, not sure if the uber hype will last, or for how long.I appreciate all that I have gained from BP, and helped keep the encouragement going as it has been very tiresome looking at several hundred or even several thousand deals so far this last year.SO thank you all,Steve and Peg

25 March 2019 | 5 replies
@Josie Shaw Generally I take on all the little items (at the end of the day only some will get done by the seller anyway) and looking at 30 items on a list gets tiresome!
Henry Murray PM contract question - balance of fees due, is this normal??

I'm friends with the BIC and I think it's probably tiresome for her that investors up and move PMs all of the time.I'd call the BIC and address your concerns.

Enjoy reading this thread -- I may have stated - I waffle back and forth what my future will be in this space -- I wouldnt mind building one someday and in fact would enjoy building my own and managing the build - but geez -- the HR perspective and finding the right people -- that is tiresome -- I've gotten pretty lucky with a few of our key folks and they are an absolute blessing.

Seth Golding Making offers on properties sight unseen
15 June 2016 | 3 replies
Because we plan to make low ball offers, we are finding it tiresome to schedule showings of properties and then finding out afterwards that the owner isn't interested in negotiating to a price that makes sense for us.
Stefan D. First Multifamily (Long Distance BRRRR Gone Sideways)
14 September 2021 | 51 replies
I had 2 long distance BRRRR's before this go well on SFR's (totally recouped my investment on both), so 2 out of 3 isn't awful - especially if I try to learn from my mistakes and get better over time.Stefan, what's important is that you showed up, you asked honest questions here, you pulled the trigger, you had problems, and you SHOWED UP AGAIN and were dead honest about them, too. What we get in the forums (and now the FB groups) all too often is a bunch of ra-ra-ra and success-success-success, and the constant, tiresome implication that everyone who isn't bragging about winning all the time shouldn't be here.
