I unfortunately don't have a lot of advice to offer, but I would definitely still report him to TREA for sure and then I would also, might be a stretch, go to a police station and tell them the situation and ask for their advice.

Still a nice ride to the BART Lake Merritt station and lunch on the lake or venture down to Jack London Square.  

They posed as a home seller and he claims they actually cuffed him and took him to the station for processing.

I was almost half empty on gas just the other day so I drove into the gas station for a fill up.

Next day call the "b"s3- Go visit an open house daily4- cold call for an hour5- mix up your routine by going to different store/restaurants/ gas stations.. introduce yourself as an investor6- go to a chamber ribbon cuttings as often as possible7- Post on facebook and tag your friends so their friends see it8- drive to a neighborhood and distribute door hanger 50 a day. collect abandoned or poorly kept up houses9- mail a simple note to those collected addresses10- call back everyone you have spoken to in the past. divide the number by 22

Like Philly  Balt  Detroit  Indy  those are areas were a wholesaler can do well.. you have the inventory sitting there waiting for you.In your market your not going to drive down the street and see 10 boards ups .. or one or two for that matter like you do in these other areas.. those are the province for most wholesalers.I was just in Cinnci.. that train left the station there as well. that's a very tough market.. as well. but up in middle part of the state of ohio and going north still lots of distressed homes.. 

The local tv station loves the crazy idea and will do a story on it.
