What would happen to a property manager if February rent all disappeared or was frozen?

He is getting a 1099 from the government on this money and will have to pay tax on it (unless property is held in an IRA).You should be entitled to receive the 3 months while you owned the property.I would contact him and threated to report him to the government for fraud on receiving the 3 months of rent on a property he no longer owned. 

He wasn't giving into the state and local governments mandate for employees to be forced to wear masks, get vaccines, etc and he started getting "threats" saying that he could be taken to court and have assets seized if he continues "breaking the emergency laws" during covid time.That could be viewed as an extreme example, but things like this worry me as I have my own company and employees.

It's one thing if you want to screw over someone , steal $10K and disappear into thin air.
