However, in crypto you could assume that a blockchain that supports Web3, DeFi, and is an industry disruptor would be a viable investment for a small allocation of your portfolio.

Has anyone here ever sold some of their bitcoin to buy some real estate? 

In my experience it seems like Real Estate is almost as hot of an investment class as its been in years, second only to Bitcoin/Crypto Currency, this creates its own unique set of issues with the newbies looking for a get rich quick scheme.

I think about the economy, the stock market the Bitcoin rally.

I do, however, make sure to close at a title company so I make sure I'm getting a free and clear property.Though honestly in the future with block chain type tech there is no reason I couldn't just transfer "funds" via blockchain and receive title the same way.

And yes, stock market, and perhaps Bitcoin in these few weeks, can give you a much higher return, but real estate is a great way to diversify.

There's been talk of how these will intersect and it's already happening in some spaces and I'm not talking about Metaverse Real Estate (Although I think some of that will make some people VERY wealthy).I'm talking about real physical real estate providing access to crypto investing and returns, and here's the crazy part...It has the potential to offer all the great things real estate does like depreciation, hedge against inflation and cash flow, all while exposing you to the high reward of Bitcoin's upside and decentralized nature.
