Set up some keyword alerts for your areas of interest and it can help you stay on top of happenings there as well as help you meet some key players in those markets.

If anyone is familiar with the keyword alerts on biggerpockets then Google Alerts should be a breeze. google.com/alerts allows you to put in and save keywords into Google.

I recently inputted the keyword searches you can create in your profile and it is invaluable to getting content that is important to you.

Maybe mentioning new haven, bridgeport and wallingford will trigger some key word alerts. 

Also set up some keyword alerts that will notify you of when topics of your interest are discussed.
