My advice would be to type the name of the organization in the Google or YouTube search bar and next to it put "scam" or "scandal" ...that will give you a good idea of what you're getting yourself into.

. #1 in mortgage by volume is known for having ridiculously high hidden fees, #2 is another household name, famous for their "every customer should have 8 accounts" scandal, both are widely despised by Realtors (you know, the people who are telling their seller client which offer to accept and which to throw in the trash).If the person you are working with comes well referred and you have confidence in them, that goes a long way.

I live in Southeastern South Dakota, and if you're familiar with EB5 you'll know about the scandal that took place a few years ago --essentially, several Chinese investors were scammed, they sued the state, we lost our regional center.
