At my company, our videos and TV shows generate between 1-3 million views a month, this filters down to hundreds of leads every month. 

If they screw up the installation, Direct TV and/or Dish Network will not stand behind it.

They didn't know their market and got conditioned to high numbers on TV or other markets and didn't realize that $180k is VERY expensive for many parts of our town.The danger is because our real estate is so affordable people are coming in from out of town seeing potential to increase rents...well, again, it depends on neighborhood.

I work in the TV/film industry and it is essentially a gig to gig job.

It's important to note that not everyone will have the same taste in decor, so having a vibrant/unique colour scheme could be a turn-off for a lot of people.Clean from top to bottom.Every room should be cleaned and bad odours removed as it could be something as small as this that turns viewers off the home.

Paying $150 a month for cable tv is not $150.

I am also a public speaker, author, sometimes radio show host, and if I was better looking I would have a TV show (been interviewed 6 times) All of those things fall under my real estate umbrella.  

I'm not a financial advisor, I just play one on TV, nor am I a securities attorney, and I don't know a great deal about your specific goals or situation, but I would not put all your eggs in one basket to start. 

California is definitely outside my knowledge base other than scratching my head how a 1,200sf property can cost $500,000 on the flip shows on TV!  

When the compressor for the fridge kicks out, its nice not to have it on a circuit with something else such as a TV because the inrush current is higher.
