It really depends on whether the contractors in your area are well versed in the technology, and whether you'd want to make that financial investment for this property.

For example, as an independent agent, at most places you will need to purchase your own business cards and marketing material, some also charge you a technology fee ($50+ per month), and some even charge you to print or make copies.  

I remotely manage both of them using a hybrid method of Evolve Vacation rental for my bookings, listings, payments, etc. and then I use technology to basically manage remotely after the guest checks in. 

He has a technology background and used to be responsible for marketing of microprocessors at Motorola to companies like Apple.

New technology is counterintuitive in that it would seem to replace jobs when in fact historically new technology has alwys created jobs.
