Ads where the original poster is unresponsive to questions will also get closed.Discussions where someone wants to restart the topic, or where someone asks "what happened with this deal" or the OP posts "here's an update" certainly do not get closed.

Wondering how people treat this scenario:- Good looking asset and well maintained exterior- Appreciating area (+$3k-$5k per month in zillow value)- Currently owner-occupied, owner has been 100% unresponsive through FCPotential Profits:Scenario 1: Interior in good condition for area, but still needs some minor work: $25k profitScenario 2: Interior updated and no real work needed (have been told by a realtor who was in the property in 2012 that it was updated and 'very nice' (granite, etc.): $45k profitScenario 3: Interior needs a lot of work / other issues come up: $10k profitWhere would you tie your auction profits?

I understand this forum is mostly for landlords but I'm a tenant stuck with a not-so-nice landlord. He wouldn't respond to my emails/phone calls for basic repairs (eg leaking toilet). He only shows up to collect rent....

Clearly explain the situation and request that they address the issue as per your policy.If the title insurance company is unresponsive or denies your claim, then it may be necessary to consult with an attorney to explore further legal action.
