Make the best decision you can given the laws and regulations that are in place..speculating on tax changes is a dangerous situation to put yourself in. 4 years from now a democrat could come into power and completely undo and tax incentives that Trump created etc...you don't want to be stuck with a large tax burden and no options to shelter it.

People are using the terms to somehow label people as if it's all black and white.The problem I'm having is that those who Voted Republican and had NO IDEA about what the Republicans are actually addressing, which probably is a Majority of Voters (both Democratic and Republican), the only thing they know is the label of Liberal or Conservative.

It is worth pointing out though that at least here in WI, the state's Republicans backed all the landlord friendly laws and law changes and the Democrats opposed them and have supported much more tenant friendly rules.
