Neither the entrepreneurs nor the farmers nor the capitalists determine what has to be produced.

I get so sick of it also because this is a capitalistic society in which we live and for the most part people love capitalism....until it threatens their existence or their operations.

If you're a true real estate investor then you welcome recessions as cycles  part of our capitalist society.

I just would like to know why capitalistic entrepreneurs, such as ourselves, think educational information to advance our business and put money in our pocket, must only be free.

This is answered on a more capitalistic view, but of course everyone has their comfort zone. 

I didn't really mind, but in my context (a college) some folks are not as keen on free market capitalism in general....With just one mid-level condo housing a professional at market rates--someone called me a "slum lord" and another said I was "a capitalist" (the latter of which I think they meant as derogatory--but I kinda appreciated or preferred to being called socialist or communist). 

People are innately good, it's only when we are bread with capitalistic upbringings (and those upbringings stick, and they mostly do) that people do bad things.

But he is not complaining after he assessed the return vs expenses, but as a good capitalist he did raise his rates to those of the nearest laundry.As another suggested he also went with separate water heating on his dime.

@Jay Helms runs the W2 Capitalist (also a great guy).

@Kit E.Nomad Capitalist isn't about real estate investing and because of that his advice can be counterproductive.
