Using 10- 50 'touches' with a guy in his 60s- 90s might soon prove counter productive... just as calling a millennial to 'invest' in RE as a 'private investor,' or 'venture capitalist,' probably isn't going to pan- out!

I’m in the Joplin area and part of the Joplin REIA and the Capitalist Cartel groups.

Scandinavia and even modern China are great examples of countries which have elements of socialism but incorporate varying degrees of competition and capitalism - in fact one could argue modern China is more capitalistic than modern America is (at the very least in a dystopian sense).Then we must ask, does pure capitalism work?

During this Covid time, it's safe to assume that eight people of which six are unauthorized to occupy the premisses have been able to  assemble a nice little fortune collecting any social resource that was made available to them (unemployment money, stimulus checks, etc.) while the capitalist (me) spent last three semesters teaching 10 college classes each semester on Zoom from the same room my children are doing their own online classes.

Treat it like a business, and a capitalist business at that.

Since I became successful people now accuse me of being a greedy capitalist while I pay far higher taxes than they do.  

As a Seattleite who owns rentals in Tacoma - it would be a shame to have what happened up here happen down there - from a cultural and capitalist point of view.

Now you are the evil capitalist landlord, and some days it feels like everyone who doesn't outright hate you is out to cheat you somehow.... yet you still have to hope for the best, plan for the worst, and maintain professional relationships with everyone. 

In reality, there is no other path by which to restore normalcy of capitalist processes in our economy.

The greatest thing about a capitalist society is that price dictates what is fair.
