Our culture is that real estate does NOT need to be sold.  

Following on other replies about the presence of university and hospitals in Champaign/Urbana, I would add that there's a specific cultural dimension at play that contributes to the difference in price between parts of these cities and other areas of Central Illinois.

In fact, successful businesses use positive company culture and values to attract employees and customers.

And the culture I grew up to being raised in the Bronx, NY has made me strong but lost as to who it is that I am as a person.

Follow up question: Is there a culture of lawyers dissuading sellers from complicated contracts?

Meeting them in person is key to have an idea of whats their business culture and ways they handle certain emergencies like a roof leak, broken pipe etc.

Between the decades' long growth of clean industry, tech, ecology, the indie music & film scene, the political & educational intellect and a contemporary, pedestrian-friendly downtown, Austin models the values of the Hippie/Boomers, Gen X & Gen Y/Milleniums, across the board.

The city is so big, but we have a unique culture of sharing here and I think you can safely keep the 25k in your pocket to invest vs giving it to some guru to help you find your next deal, etc. 

Ybor City is ideal for its dynamic mix of culture and potential commercial opportunities.
