These areas are also employment hubs, have easy access to transportation (Dulles toll road, metro. etc.), and offer a variety of entertainment options and other great amenities for people to enjoy.I just helped two different clients to buy a house hacking property in Reston and Herndon and they both eliminated their living costs.

And by the time the leftover paint is no longer useable, the walls will likely have dulled or faded where it wouldnt work to touch it up anyway and it is ready for re-paint.

Could probably go a year or two with very light use, but entryways and other high traffic areas would dull sooner.

Certainly with a paid off house and Dulles with less then $120k debit you can find a way to afford property management right?

I will say mine paid.. but our market at that time in the Bay area was quite a bit better than the PNW.. many don't realize how bad it was mid 80s seattle Portland.. if Boeing got a cold the economy tanked.. timber was in the dull  drums all pre tech..  

I love my job, its never dull. 

But people do live here, especially the younger set who have no interest in moving to some dull burb or small town where they can sit in a yard watching the grass grow.

Trying to say it nicely and not with the "you idiot" tacked on the end of it, even with a tone of voice.I think I may have gone ahead and given him a couple of spare blankets.Never a dull moment.
