If its not possible to pay the written off debt, or otherwise save the house, does the bank (or whoever) come confiscate the house AND belongings when her father passes?

Hardly any furniture remaining, no beds and I saw the Warrant on the counter with what the police confiscated (guns,ammo,drugs the whole 9 yards).

We continue to say No to such associations -not to mention it still doesn't have federal sanction which could lead to confiscation of property.

Property taxes are used to confiscate wealth to pay for items where there are laws that MANDATE balanced budgets.

If it can be proven that you knew someone was dealing drugs out of your property but choose not to do anything because you get paid on time every time, say you could actually have the property confiscated by the government.

The govt may actually confiscate the dwelling from you under Civil Forfeiture and RICO laws, and not pay you a nickel for your trouble.

There is also the "Chavez" factor of putting yourself in an environment where the local government feels it is free to confiscate assets.

Real estate can be especially problematic in that it is easy to confiscate.

who in recent years have complained they  came home to find sheriff's dept snooping around their home looking for MJ to confiscate, when they found nothing, they still try to lift anything valuable like iphones, laptops etc and provide bizarre stories like 'WE CHASED A MURDER SUSPECT WHO FLED ONTO YOUR PROPERTY IN HIDING'. in retrospect, i find theres more '420 FRIENDLY' civilians, officials, etc, than there are not. perhaps even to officials its a quick way to make extra $$, crashing and siezing GROW OPS?
