On the other hand, neighborhoods with no HOA sometimes can get really unorganized, messy and lack pool and playground, etc..

I would say have her pay the cable bill and the electric/gas bill (don't do food, IMO it always gets messy b/c it ends up costing a lot more), no reason she gets  to live completely free... remember, you're still on the hook for maintenance for both homes, and stuff will come up!

If it is cheap, you're taking a risk by hiring someone that is green and willing to work for the experience, or you're going down a path you don't want to take by hiring a flat out cheap SEO - which I've seen turn into messy situations.

Especially if it's SEO - because they will need to stay motivated for 6-9 months before they get paid - and things are going to get really complicated when you meet a client in person, they go to your website, fill out your form, and the web team thinks they brought them in via SEO, when really they came landed on your site from a search engine because they met you in person and google'd your name - attribution can get really really messy.

Also, I’m using Cash Basis Accounting.I believe I have 2 options:Option 1) Go back to the original expense and change the charged amount from the original dollar amount to $0.This works, but feels a bit messy.
