Oh man, I had 2 acres about 1 1/2 hours outside of Portland, OR and I'd catch the city folk letting their pests loose on the far driveway to my property and I'd run screaming at them like a crazy banshee.If you're going to trap your problems, to move somewhere for someone else to deal with - at least take them all the way into the middle of a national forest.

We know this works because everyone on the left screamed welfare reform in the 90's was going to create more homeless people but it actually resulted in more people getting jobs and becoming self-sufficient.The only thing I would offer poor people is opportunity.

Sometimes I chose just from the voicemail to deny them without even showing the unit to them - they were screaming obscenities at their kids in the background, or they were obviously drunk at a bar with a band in the background (not the time or place to do business with a potential landlord), etc.

If they sounded drunk or crazy or were screaming at their kids or calling me from a loud party, I made a note in a notebook as to why they were denied, and I didn't call them back.When I was ready, I'd sit down with my notebook and call them back in order received.

And the ex will be around having screaming arguments and drama.And, if you do take a chance on any of these types of tenants, just do month to month rental agreements, in case they turn out to not be so cute, once they are your tenants :-)

To parking across 2 parking spaces constantly and when I said I was going to have to give them a warning because I'm getting complaints and I'd already asked several times and the owner was breathing down my throat about it (in a very nice way)- I got screamed at and that was the end of that friendship.Now, prior to being their friends, there were none of these issues.
