For me it's:-A good work history-They meet or exceed the monthly income and credit requirement-No prior evictions/never sued by a prior landlord-No/minimal criminal record - no drug arrests/no violent crimes.

Hi Chanelle,I see this in the media sometimes: "one of the most LGBTQ-friendly cities in the country".What makes a city into that and how do they rank the cities.I mean in days gone by, they used to arrest these people as law breakers, but I am under the impression that the Federal Government prohibits that now.So it seems all places should be equal in their treatment of them--with no MOST type of situation.I'm thinking it might just be some kind of advertising ploy to draw certain people to certain areas for whatever (financial) reasons (such as to benefit Aids Hospices in the area or something).

You know that people can be arrested for abuse of animals or elder abuse or child abuse; if the stuff that I've seen in some houses were treated similarly, the owners would be arrested for housing abuse :)

@Sean Cole it so very different your seller is the Sherriff or trustee service in our case.. your buyer is someone who is bidding... and puts up a significant non refundable deposit.Or like in the case of Indiana its a felony to bid on a property and not follow through.. not only do you lose your bid deposit the Sherriff can have you arrested.
