You've got a lot of green/granola/alternative types and type stuff and stores and restaurants, and you've got a lot of downsides to that -- homelessness, anti-government/anti-vaxxers/homeopathic types.

Seems like an overall anti-str tone from the local governments. 

Adam, lol, if you read my posts, you'll see that I am, shall we say, anti-guru and I use that term for most things that are unconventional.

Anti-landlord laws and bad tenants have taught us a lot, particularly that there are much better areas for cashflow with a lot less headache!

Lastly, don't buy into all the anti-NYS stuff.

This is a different sort of  "hardening", but today in a unit I'm renovating I changed the ugly Segal vertical deadbolt to a standard cylindrical deadbolt, but with the addition of a steel plate "anti-kick-in" plate buried under the inside casing with 4" screws into the jamb.  

This is the kind of comparison I would expect from some Anti-Science Karen/Ken on Facebook who is twisting everything to pretend she/he is right. 

Just for the "Official Record," I am not absolutely 100% anti-turn key strategy.

Some people think I'm anti Podunk but I'm really about making the best choice in whatever market you decide to invest in.
