I won't say it was the main reason but it definitely wore me down and it made me resent the idea of going to college, but one of the reasons I decided not to go to college is because every normal conversation I ever tried having with my parents, about anything at all, ended up being (not exaggerating) 30 minutes to an hour long lecture about how I need to go to college.
