I can see numerous paths that would make my 20 years optimistic (another major terrorist attack, a major middle east war with Russia or China on the other side, deflationary trends really kicking in) and only a few that would make my scenario pessimistic (inflation being the most likely.)

We just want to have a different set of rules apply to terrorists as to soldiers employed by a foreign country.One problem we have is that most countries in the world do not face a major terrorist problem and the few that do are going to have a hard time convincing the rest to amend the convention.

Some days I was called a Physical Terrorist or Physical Torturer depending on the day.

Checkr does the criminal checks for cozy and they just had check-boxes that show "clear" when there was nothing to report for criminal, eviction, terrorist watchlist (very amusing).

. **** has made what in legal terms is a “Terroristic Threat” in response to another tenant making a simple error of not looking in the washer before starting to change the settings for their own load.

Also has terrorist, but I’ve never seen anyone flagged there.

You may be too young to remember and I don't know if they teach this in school, but we got hit by terrorist attacks in Sept 2001.

A lady named Nancy in Congress lead the effort to stop money laundry from foreign terrorist.

Plan for a once in a lifetime event every 10 years... like a global pandemic, housing market crashing globally, the internet being invented (and then causing the dot com bust)... a group of terrorists slamming airplanes into two skyscrapers in NYC. you get the idea.
